COVID 19 GUIDELINES FOR VOLUNTEERING

Alll volunteers — whether inside or outside, whether during the school day or after-school hours — must receive the two-dose Pfizer or Moderna vaccine OR the single-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine AND be at least 14 days past their final vaccine dose, starting October 18, 2021.

You must
upload your vaccination card or your immunization record from a licensed medical provider. Volunteers who are unable to be vaccinated due to a documented medical condition (including pregnancy) or due to a sincerely held religious belief must submit the required Oregon Health Authority (OHA) form.

(Added 2/15/23)

The OAR 333-019-1030 requiring volunteers to provide proof of their COVID vaccination status, or an OHA exception form is still in place. Volunteers without either of these uploaded to their profile will be unable to view or sign up for open activities.

Unvaccinated volunteers with approved exceptions may work with students, but the District is requiring them to be masked, despite the district's general mask-optional policy, IF Washington County’s Community Level is listed as High, per the CDC website.

Tips when setting up your account:

1) Use your email as your username, or something you know for sure you'll remember (and email address is great because they are unique for each person).

2) Make your password SUPER easy (no need for CAPS, numbers and symbols). Remember, this password will travel with your through your child's entire education within the BSD.

3) Should you happen to forget your password, please visit www.myimpactpage.com (if you login on your mobile device, be sure to click on the link to "Go to the main site") to reset it. Again, keep it simple so you won't forget.

4) If you are unable to login due to computer issues, please be sure to check in with Donna so they are aware you're in the building (this is in case of emergencies so they know who is present at the school). Use the visitor's log or be proactive! Grab a piece of paper and start a hand-written volunteer log, including your name, activity, time in and time out. Your Volunteer Coordinators will use the list to record your hours in the system.

Thanks again for your patience.
