SCHOLLS HEIGHTS SAFE ROUTES TO SCHOOL

Our Safe Routes to School program goals align with the goals of Beaverton Safe Routes to School to promote safe routes for walking, biking, and busing to school.  Our activities encourage and support our motivated school community and celebrate the many health benefits of active transportation and ride sharing.

Activities:

  • Post virtual Walk + Roll activities during Comprehensive Distance Learning.

  • Celebrate Walk + Roll to School Days in October and May.

  • Organize Walking School Buses - a walking school bus is a group of children walking to school with one or more adults.

  • Support school administrators with Safe Routes goals and priorities.

  • Share safety tips and lessons from Beaverton’s Safe Routes to School.

  • Promote No Idling near schools to ensure healthy air for students and staff.
