PTO Planning Committees and Open Chair Positions
for 2015-2016 School Year. PTO Planning Committees are a great way to earn volunteer hours at home while planning fun events and activities throughout the year.

 

 

2015-16 PTO Open Activity Positions - 2 YEAR COMMITMENTS

HOSPITALITY/POTLUCKS CO-CHAIR

Work with our current chair to provide appreciation to our staff.  Need someone to be on hand during school hours to help set up potlucks twice a year and hand out cards monthly (birthdays, retirement, babies, etc).

 

OBOB CHAIR

Battle of the Books is taking on a new format this year! You will work with our school librarian, our principal and a PTO board member for this event.

 

CORPORATE GIVE BACK PROGRAMS CHAIR

Help market these programs with write ups through social media and monthly newsletters. 

 

SCIENCE FAIR CO-CHAIR

Shadow the current co-chair to learn the program for managing the program next year.  The event is in February in the evening. 

 

STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK CO-CHAIR

Work with our current chair to provide appreciation to our staff.  Need someone to be on hand during school hours in the middle of May for staff appreciation week to help set up and decorate staff room.

 

RIVERMARK SAVINGS DAY CO-CHAIR

Once a month during the school year we have a Rivermark Savings Day. Kids open an account or deposit 5 dollars into their savings account with Rivermark representatives at our school. The kids get informed and rewarded with the dollar dogs program and our school gets rewarded from Rivermark $$$! Help by working with Rivermark, overseeing this day and marketing it to parents and students.
